Transparent windows

Transparent Windows is a series of drawings layered on transparent paper and mounted on wooden frames. The images shift as sunlight passes through, revealing different layers of drawing materials – pastel, graphite, markers, and ink. The works were exhibited in a space where viewers could move around freely and be able to see both sides of each piece.

The wooden frames divide the drawings into two parts, evoking associations with artist’s books, book spreads, and pages. These drawings unfold like transparent landscapes, illuminated by the sun as if seen through windows.
